The Geneva International Christian Choir & Orchestra
What
Joy, Joy, Joy! is a Christmas concert explaining the story of Christmas through majestic music and a short narration. The concert will be in English and simultaneously translated in French on a large overhead screen.
Who
The Geneva International Christian Choir and Orchestra is a new, Geneva-based musical group founded by the Eglise Evangélique Internationale de Genève, the same organizer of “Once Upon A Cross” given last October 2009 in Saint Peter’s Cathedral, Geneva. For this concert, a total of 120 musicians and singers will participate, 90 of whom have been invited from Romania.
The conductor, Flavius Filip, is currently finishing his double Master’s degree in choir and orchestral directing at the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
